Takanawa Construction

The foundations are complete, the concrete for the ground floor has been poured and the steel columns are starting to go up for our facility at Takanawa. All this means that the project is on schedule for the all-important interior fit out work to start in September.

Meanwhile, the relocation plans are being put in place, with each department developing its detailed plans for the winding down of operations at Azabudai on Christmas night for the January opening at Takanawa.

Discussions with potential partners for off-site facilities during our time at Takanawa are progressing - final fitness and offsite parking options are under review and we will be sure to keep Members fully informed of the progress.

Azabudai Planning

The schematic design and overall look and feel for the new Club have been approved by the Long Range Planning Committee and the Board of Governors. Our Master Design Architects Pelli Clarke Pelli have also been appointed to undertake the interior design for the food & beverage operations. With the assistance of an independent consultant we have been able to optimize the parking and traffic flow design to ensure we can best utilize our parking areas.
